Audi Spirit

We are driven by team spirit, curiosity, and diversity. Each and every individual matters to us – we listen and every idea is important to us. We are open, honest, and respectful toward one another. Because only then can we be creative and devise innovations. For a world that we keep moving together.

We are stepping up to truly make a difference – to the mobility of the future and to our planet.

Audi is well known for sporty dynamism. Including when it comes to developing the mobility of the future. We have chosen to clearly focus on electric mobility and are committed to reducing the carbon emissions in our supply chains. Here, it is important to us all that we advance not only automobiles with our ideas and our work, but also people.

Xavier Ros, Personal und Organisation

„We want to shape the mobility of the future and build vehicles with state-of-the-art technology, vehicles that offer an outstanding driving experience while simultaneously paving the way to the future – green, clean, sustainable, and electric.“

– Xavier Ros, Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG Human Resources and Organisation

Ideas can evolve better when they grow in many people’s minds.

We firmly believe we achieve more together. We embrace people who continuously look for improvements, have their own minds, and contribute new ways of seeing things. We promote thought diversity and constructive debates. We encourage people to explore new ideas and perspectives. We support and strengthen each other and are appreciative of one another. All of our employees should feel secure, ask questions, share their opinions, and try out new things. We learn from and inspire one another. What we love even more than people with the right answers are people who ask the right questions.

"Individuals produce good results. But great results are teamwork."

― Sevgi, IT Solution Architect

I’m now doing exactly what I wanted to do, am continuously learning, and feel very at home. I really enjoy my work, my coworkers are fantastic, and my boss is great, supporting me and really having my back. It almost feels like a little family.

My boss is always saying: “Learn as much as you want.” “Vorsprung durch Technik” is just the thing for me. I always want to know everything about the latest technology. And it’s then great to simply be able to try things out for yourself. I’ll probably never be perfect, but I will always be getting better. My team leads are always encouraging me here, saying: “Don’t think about it ten times until it’s perfect. You’re allowed to make mistakes.”

Or: “Sevgi, simply do it – we trust you and it’s OK if you make mistakes.” I’m really lucky to have such great bosses and coworkers.

We at Audi are united by our mindset – the way we work together as a team at all locations around the world. We treat each other fairly and with respect. And we are open to new people and new ideas. I am constantly experiencing how this enriches us and helps us advance.

I have seen time and again during my assignments abroad that these shared values are not just words on paper, but are lived out in practice. I have worked in ramp-up support in production for every model change in Changchun since 2004, as well as twice in San Jose Chiapa for the production ramp-up of the Audi Q5.

The way we work with our Chinese and Mexican colleagues is outstanding. Even after work, we often do something together and you get to know the culture and people better. What better way is there to express community?
This is why I believe we are well-equipped for the big transformation facing the automotive industry.
